Le Sunset Villa is an exclusive eight-unit boutique retreat situated on a quiet ridge near Ubud’s iconic Campuhan Ridge Walk. Designed by the late French architect Christian Malmoux, the property masterfully blends simplicity, natural textures, and understated elegance to create a serene hillside sanctuary.
Located in the peaceful village of Bangkiang Sidem, it offers a perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, being just a short drive from Ubud Palace and the famous Sacred Monkey Forest. With a capacity for up to 18 guests, this estate is an ideal venue for retreats, celebrations, and creative gatherings.
Outdoor living areas
The estate is set within lush tropical grounds, offering immersive nature experiences at every turn. The centerpiece of the outdoor area is a stunning jungle-edge infinity pool that offers panoramic views of the surrounding forest. Wellness enthusiasts will appreciate the dedicated yoga shala, perfect for morning practice amidst the trees.
Guests can also unwind on the wooden decks, stroll along winding pathways through the gardens, or gather around the open-air fireplace for cozy evenings under the stars.

At the heart of the retreat lies an open-air dining and lounge pavilion, designed as a communal space for shared meals and relaxation. This expansive open-concept living area features comfortable daybeds and dining tables that face the outdoors, ensuring a seamless connection with nature. The interiors are defined by a bright, modern naturalist style, utilizing local materials and polished marble floors to create an atmosphere of cool, airy comfort. Modern amenities such as Smart TVs and WiFi are provided to ensure a connected and convenient stay.

Bedrooms
The property features 8 distinct bedrooms, categorized into Valley Villas with sweeping views, Garden Villas surrounded by greenery, and two luxurious Signature Suites: the Maharaja and Maharani. The Maharaja Suite boasts a four-poster canopy bed, vaulted ceilings, and a dramatic carved stone bathtub on the balcony. The Maharani Suite features elegant sliding glass doors and a unique outdoor stone bathtub.
For groups, a spacious Family Room is available, equipped with one King bed and two single beds. All rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and private outdoor spaces like balconies or patios.
