Equipoise Resort & Spa Ubud is a luxurious and eco conscious sanctuary nestled along the scenic ridges of Kenderan Village, situated just north of the cultural heart of Ubud. Designed by Lumbung Architect, the resort is a masterpiece of contemporary bamboo architecture that flows organically with the surrounding terraced landscape. Operating under a philosophy of Step Into Balance, the property focuses on sustainability and mindful living while encouraging guests to embrace the Balinese art of slowing down.

This adults only retreat provides a peaceful escape where modern design meets the raw beauty of the tropical jungle.

The outdoor areas are designed to dissolve the boundaries between shelter and nature through fluid lines and organic curves. A signature feature is the Wanderway, a path that follows the natural contours of the land and leads guests past iconic palms and toward breathtaking views of the emerald rice fields. Guests can also enjoy panoramic 180 degree views from the elegant bamboo pavilions or take a short walk to experience the sacred Manuaba Waterfall for traditional purification rituals.

The open air bamboo pavilions serve as sophisticated social hubs, including the Aura Bar which offers a curated selection of fine wines in a jungle setting. The resort also houses specialized wellness facilities such as a Turkish hammam, a dedicated pilates room, and an indoor lounge area for quiet reflection.

This unique resort features three beautiful accommodation types: the One Bedroom Pool Villa, the One Bedroom Pool Villa with Ricefield Views, and the Presidential Villa with 2 bedrooms.

One Bedroom Pool Villas

These secluded hideaways are masterfully crafted from bamboo and stone to offer a refined and organic retreat. Each villa is anchored by a signature round bed featuring premium Aireloom bedding and is equipped with integrated smart technology for effortless control of the environment. Guests can relax on a private terrace that overlooks the lush tropical gardens, providing a serene and intimate sanctuary.

The resort provides exceptional personalized care through its multilingual staff. Culinary experiences are led by the Wonderspace team at two distinct venues, including the Italian Mediterranean flavors of Terra Verte and the modern European grill, Riserva. Beyond dining, the Hammana Spa offers healing treatments customized to a guest's unique Balinese lifepath.

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, trotz später Ankunft und Regen. Das ganze Personal im Resort war sehr freundlich und liebenswürdig. Der Service im Restaurant beim Frühstück und Dinner sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend. Die Gerichte sehr lecker mit italienischen und asiatischen Akzenten. Selbst Wagyu Rind ist in verschiedenen Varianten auf der Speisekarte. Der Blick vom Restaurant, Pool und von den Villen in die Reisterrassen ist einfach ein Traum. Der Hauptpool nimmt die Form der Reisfelder auf und schafft einen Übergang dorthin und ist einfach herrlich anzusehen. Der Privatpool der Villa ist wunderbar und wirklich groß. Das ökologische Konzept ist konsequent umgesetzt und spiegelt sich Bambusarchitektur des gesamten Resort wieder. Unser Aufenthalt war phantastisch und hat uns total entspannt, auch dank der der Spa-Anwendungen. Vielen Dank noch einmal an das ganze Team und für die herzliche Verabschiedung.
